Philipp Magnus Seifert

Philipp Magnus Seifert (born May 6, 1800 in Greifswald ; † November 17, 1845 ) was a German doctor and university professor.

Seifert studied medicine in Greifswald , Jena and Berlin. He then went on educational trips to Vienna, Italy and Paris. In 1830 he became professor of medicine in Greifswald. In 1842 Seifert was elected rector of the university.
