Philipp Zimmer

Philipp Zimmer (born November 4, 1905 in Trier ; † January 21, 1975 there ) was a German politician ( CDP / CDU ).

Zimmer was an electrician by profession. From 1935 to 1936 he was a member of the DAF . In 1945 he took part in the founding of the CDP , from which the Rhineland-Palatinate state association of the CDU later emerged. For the CDU he was a member of the advisory state assembly in 1946/47 . There he was a member of the social policy committee.

He was a member of the board of directors of the St. Gangolf parish in Trier.
