Philippe Chat

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Philippe Chat (born May 10, 1970 ) is a former French football referee.

Chat whistled his first game at national level when he was in charge of a match in the Coupe de France 1997/98 . After he had established himself as a referee in the semi-professional third division, he was the first time SC Bastia 2-0 against Grenoble Foot on October 29, 2005 in a second division game on the field. For the 2006/07 season, the then 36-year-old was added to the list of Ligue 2 referees and headed 16 games. His stakes remained largely constant, so that he worked as a referee in 70 second division games before he was eliminated from the list for the second-highest French division in 2010 at the age of 40. Until 2011 he was still in the fourth division and in the Coupe de France in use. Chat was never involved in a first division game.
