The Philippine Cattle is a Zebu - cattle breed from the Philippines .

The Philippines cattle are descended from Southern Chinese Yellow Cattle that were exported from Fujian to the Philippines.

The Philippines cattle are very similar to the Southern Chinese Yellow Cattle, but were influenced by cattle imported from Mexico during Spanish colonial rule (Mexico and the Philippines were part of New Spain until Mexico became independent in 1821).

The Philippines cattle vary in their coat color from the usual yellow to white or brown-orange, but almost always monochrome. They always have a hump.

Usually they are kept for meat production.
