Philip of Gortyna
Philip of Gortyna († around 180) was Bishop of Gortyna in Crete .
Little is known about Philip. He is mentioned by Eusebius of Caesarea and is said to have written a pamphlet against the followers of Markion . His death is dated to the time of Emperor Commodus .
Philip is venerated as a saint. His feast day is April 11th .
