Phintias of Akragas
Phintias († 279 BC ) was from 289 BC BC tyrant of Akragas .
He also ruled the area of Gela , which he eventually destroyed. He settled the inhabitants near the mouth of the Himeras and named the city Phintiades (today's Licata ).
