Photo Play is an arcade machine from the Austrian company funworld , which, unlike other arcade machines, is not operated via joysticks and buttons, but via a touch screen . The first machine was set up in 1995 and contained 18 games that could be selected by inserting coins. There are now around 150,000 photo play terminals in 46 countries around the world.

A built-in PC with removable hard drive is part of every Photo Play terminal. The first terminals were equipped with a 486 processor and 4 MB working memory , which runs under DOS . Today the Photo-Play terminals run on Windows operating systems.
