The Photographisches Wochenblatt was a magazine and repertory for photography and the reproductive arts as well as the official organ of the Photographisches Verein zu Berlin , so the initial subtitles.

The sheet, the title of which suggests a weekly publication, can be traced from issue 5 in 1879 to number 44 from 1918 and was then discontinued. It was published in Berlin by the Benekendorff publishing house . The Photographische Verein zu Berlin was also involved in the first issues. In one issue there is also a list of its members. Microfiches can be viewed in the Berlin State Library .
