Phrygian Pentapolis

The Phrygian Pentapolis was a union of five Phrygian cities in antiquity . The members were:

Eukarpia (today Emirhisar ),
Hierapolis (today Koçhisar ),
Otrous (today Yanıkören ),
Stektorion (today Kocahüyük, northeast of Menteş ) and
Brouzos (now Karasandıklı ).

The area around these cities, today the valley floor around Sandıklı , was also called Pentapolis .
