At 2,711 meters, Phu Xai Lai Leng is the highest mountain in the Vietnamese part of the Truong Son Mountains , located on the border between Laos and Vietnam . On the Vietnamese side, the mountain range belongs to the Ky Son district in the Nghệ An province in north-central Vietnam.
