Pia Elisabeth Ruckenbrod

Pia Elisabeth Ruckenbrod , b. Zell, (* December 14, 1914 ; † February 18, 2013 ) was a German handball player.

She played at VfR Mannheim . In 1939, Hilde Kehl's team won the German championship. In the final in Duisburg's Wedaustadion, the Mannheim team won the final 7-5 in front of 35,000 spectators. In 1941, Ruckenbrod became German champions for the second time with VfR Mannheim. Pia Ruckenbrod died in 2013 at the age of 98.
