Pia Giancaro

Pia Giancaro (actually Maria Pia Giamporcaro ; born March 12, 1950 in Palermo ) is an Italian actress .

Life

The daughter of a Sicilian railroad worker and a Slavic mother, Giancaro reached the final of the Miss Italia 1968 elections as Miss Sicily . The prospective teacher made her first television appearance on the quiz show A che gioco giochiamo? and made his film debut in 1970. There, the tall, blonde actress was mostly reduced to her physical qualities and used in comedies and genre films. She also starred in photo novels .

Giancaro was last seen in 2010 when she played Lady Cavendish in The Unseen World . She also appeared under the stage names Maria Pia Giancaro and Maria Pia Ruspoli.

Giancaro has been married to the Roman nobleman Lillio Sforza Marescotto Ruspoli since October 1983 ; the couple have a daughter, Giacinta Ruspoli.
