The Si is a motorbike ( two-stroke ) from the manufacturer Piaggio from Genoa in Italy. This moped was produced from the 1970s to the 1990s. In Switzerland the Si was available in different model variants, both as a moped (30 km / h) and as a small motorcycle (45 km / h).

The Si has a technically similar structure to the classic Ciao . The motors are identical except for a few small parts. In addition to the two-part frame on the Si (one-piece on the Ciao), there are also differences in components such as the lamp, the side protection panels or the saddle. In contrast to the Ciao, the Si has a front telescopic fork and a rear wheel suspension (depending on the version with two conventional shock absorbers or a cantilever suspension with a central spring element).
