Piast (beer)

Piast is a beer from Poland with an alcohol content of 5.7  % vol. It is brewed in the brewery in Szczecin and the Okocim brewery in Brzesko , which is part of the Carlsberg Polska brewery group, which in turn is part of the Danish Carlsberg group. The beer was originally brewed in the Piast Brewery in Wroclaw . The tradition of brewing beer in Wroclaw dates back to the Middle Ages, the current brewery was established in the middle of the 19th century. In addition to Piast, the Carlsberg Polska group also includes other beer brands such as Kasztelan , Harnaś , Okocim and Bosman . The word mark refers to the Polish royal family of the Piasts , whose Silesian branch resided in Wroclaw. In the logo is the Gothic town hall of Wroclaw .
