The Pico do Papagaio ("Parrot Tip") is a mountain in the interior of the Brazilian island of Ilha Grande . With a height of 982 m, it is the second highest peak on the island after Pico da Pedra D'Água (1031 m). The rocky summit bears its name because from a distance it has the shape of a parrot's head. The Pico do Papagaio, from whose summit you have a wide view over large parts of the Baía da Ilha Grande in good weather , is a popular hiking destination. From Vila do Abraão you can reach the summit in about three hours via a path through the dense Atlantic rainforest of the Ilha Grande.
