Pierre Fassnacht (born January 26, 1996 in Mühlacker ) is a German football player . The left-back is under contract with FC Carl Zeiss Jena .

Career

Fassnacht began his football career at Karlsruher SC , where he ran through all youth teams. In 2015 he moved up to the squad of the second team and was on August 14, 2015 in the 2-1 win against FSV Frankfurt for the first time in the squad of the second division team. However, he did not come to his first professional assignment, but was subsequently used in the second team. In April 2016 he signed his first professional contract, but was awarded to SSV Ulm 1846 in the Regionalliga Südwest for the following season . There he became a regular player on the left side of defense and played 27 games. Nevertheless, the KSC did not rely on him after relegation to the 3rd division for the 2017/18 season, so Fassnacht joined 1. FC Saarbrücken . There he did not get beyond the role of the supplementary player.

On May 28, 2014 Fassnacht played his only international match so far against Switzerland for the German U-18 national team .

During the 2018/19 winter break, the third division club FC Carl Zeiss Jena Fassnacht signed on the recommendation of the new head coach Lukas Kwasniok , who knew him from Karlsruhe times, despite the lack of playing time . On February 9, 2019, the 23rd matchday, Fassnacht made his first professional appearance in a 1-1 draw against his former club Karlsruher SC for Carl Zeiss Jena.

In July 2020, Fassnacht signed a contract with Rot-Weiß Oberhausen .
