Pierre Hamon (* around 1530 in Blois ; † March 7, 1569 in Paris ) was a French calligrapher .

Hamon was at the court of the French King Charles IX. works as calligrapher and chamber secretary. He is considered one of the most important French calligraphers of the 16th century. In 1567 he published his main work Alphabet de plusieurs sortes de lettres, par Pierre Hamon Blaesien, escrivain du Roy et secrétaire de sa chambre.

In 1569 Hamon was found guilty of forging the king's signature while fighting for his co-religionists, the Huguenots . He was born on March 7, 1569 on the Place de Grève executed .
