Pierre Nerini

Pierre Emmanuel Nérini (born October 7, 1915 in Paris ; † February 27, 2006 there ) was a French violinist and professor.

Life

After Nerini received the most prestigious music award from the Paris Conservatory Conservatoire national supérieur de musique (CNSM) in 1934, he was concertmaster of the Lamoureux Orchestra from 1939 to 1944. From 1945 to 1965 Nerini was concertmaster of the Paris Opera Orchestra and from 1945 to 1967 concertmaster of the "Société des Concerts du Conservatoire", 1968 to 1976 he was concertmaster of the Pasdeloup Orchestra. In 1965 he became a professor at the CNSM and taught violin.

In 1942 he married Janine Bourrié († 2008).
