Pierre de la Harpe
Pierre de la Harpe is a Swiss mathematician. He is a professor at the University of Geneva .
De la Harpe received his PhD in 1972 from the University of Warwick with James Eells ( Classical Banach-Lie Algebras and Banach-Lie Group ).
He deals with geometric group theory and operator algebras .
De la Harpe is co-editor of the Fundamentals of Mathematical Sciences and of L'Enseignement Mathématique .
