The Pietà Chapel is a neo-Gothic brick chapel built in 1904 by the Lehmbrock farmers of Ostbevern . It serves as a second blessing station for the local Corpus Christi procession and was rebuilt in 1984 by the Ostbevern land consolidation.

The chapel is at the beginning of the north ring at the fork in the road to the first dirt road. It is about three meters high and is made of dark red brick . The building is covered by a simple gable roof.
There is a pietà in the Nazarene style in the building . Originally it was flanked by two angels with a handkerchief and the inscription "My pain is as big as the sea", which is no longer there today. On the altar-like block that carries the wayside shrine is written: “Sorrowful mother, please for us! Bernhard Gr. Hokamp, Anna Gr. Hokamp born Wulfers 1904 ".
On the right side, below the window, there is a sandstone with the following inscription:
“Erected in 1904 by the married couple Bernhard u. Anna Grosse Hokamp. Relocated and restored in 1986 by the community of participants in Land consolidation Ostbevern to complete the land consolidation. "

The chapel was donated by the Große Hokamp couple in 1904, the year they married. Before that, a wooden cross with a body had stood on the spot , which had become rotten and, by order of the pastor at the time, was burned at the Easter fire. In 1983 the chapel had to be demolished because of the land consolidation in Ostbevern, was rebuilt in 1986 in the old style and ceremoniously rededicated as the conclusion of the land consolidation.
