Pieter Dubordieu
Pieter Dubordieu (* around 1609 in L'Île-Bouchard , today's Indre-et-Loire department ; † after June 4, 1678 probably in Amsterdam ) was a Dutch portrait painter of French descent.
Pieter Dubordieu was a little known artist. He was enrolled at the Leiden University in 1628 and worked as a painter mainly in Leiden. Although he acquired Amsterdam citizenship in 1636 , he can be traced back to Leiden from 1638. There he was a member of the Guild of St. Luke from 1648 to 1651 and 1665 to 1676 .
