The Pig Point ( English for Schweinspitze ) is a headland on the north coast of South Georgia . In Prince Olav Harbor , it forms the south-western boundary of the entrance to North Bay .
The name probably goes back to scientists from the British Discovery Investigations who mapped Prince Olav Harbor in 1929. The further naming background has not been passed down.
