Pillar Ridge (from English pillar , pillar, pillar ' ) is a mountain ridge in the southwest of Clarence Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It extends in a southeast-northwest orientation and ends in Pillar Point .
Scientists from the British Joint Services Expedition to the Elephant Island Group (JSEEIG, 1976-1977) named it descriptively.
