Pimlico is an underground station of the London Underground in the Pimlico district in the City of Westminster and in the Travelcard tariff zone 1. Victoria Line trains run here . In 2013, 10.21 million passengers used the station.

The opening took place on September 14, 1972, but the trains had already passed through here without stopping on July 23, 1971. Pimlico is the only station on the Victoria Line with no transition to railroad lines or other underground lines. It was only integrated into the project at a later date, as otherwise the distance between Victoria and Vauxhall would have been too great. Until the extension of the Jubilee Line at the end of 1999, it was the last newly opened station on the Underground.

The station is part of an office building that was completely occupied by the Office for National Statistics , the statistical office of Great Britain, until April 2006 (the headquarters have been in Newport since March 2008 ). The main entrance is at the intersection of Bessborough Street and Rampayne Street; from here only stairs lead down to the platforms. The other two entrances at Drummond Gate and on the other side of Bessborough Street, however, also have wheelchair-accessible ramps.
