The Pingelapian language is a Micronesian language spoken in Micronesia . The language has around 3000 speakers and is spoken not only on Pingelap , but also on Pohnpei , where the majority of Pingelap speakers live. In Micronesia there are three other official languages besides Pingelapish and English. According to Ethnologue , the language is "vigorous", meaning strong.
In the Pingelapian language, both reduplication and triplication are used. The language is written with the Latin script .
