The Daihatsu Storia , which was offered in Europe as Daihatsu Sirion , was a small car made by Daihatsu .

An identical model was offered in Asia as the Toyota Duet . The model appeared in Europe at the beginning of 1998, initially with a 40 kW / 55 hp 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine. In 1999 the Sirion 1.3 Sport was added; it was powered by a 102 hp 1.3 liter 4 cylinder engine. All-wheel drive was also available as an option.

At the end of 2001, the until then only moderately successful Sirion received a thorough facelift, especially on the front and in the interior. The Sirion 1.0 received the same engine that was installed in the recently introduced Daihatsu Cuore L7, which now developed 58 hp.
