The Daihatsu Opti was a car model from the Japanese manufacturer Daihatsu . It was based on the Daihatsu Cuore platform and was built from 1992 to 2002.

The first generation of the Opti was a more rounded version of the Cuore, which also had some retro elements. This Opti was built in 1992-1998. A 3-cylinder engine with a displacement of 659 cm³ and an output of 56 hp (41 kW) was available. The Opti was offered as a two- and four-door model.

Opti II

The second generation of the Opti had a hinted notchback and frameless side windows. With its two twin headlights, the second generation Opti is reminiscent of the Lancia Lybra . This Opti was only available as a four-door model. In March 2000 the retro version Opti Classic was presented.
