The Daihatsu Hiline was a Japanese truck -called pickup and station wagon , which on the Daihatsu Compagno based. In 1962 it appeared on the market with a payload of one ton. Driven by a 1500 cm³ petrol engine with 50 kW power by means of rear-wheel drive and 4-speed manual transmission , it reached a top speed of 110 km / h.

In 1969 there was a revision with now four headlights. The station wagon was no longer produced. The payload was increased to 1.25 tons. Since Daihatsu had been cooperating with Toyota since 1967 and the Hiline was in competition with the Toyota Hilux , production was discontinued in 1971.
