Pink Cross
Pink Cross is a gay civil rights and self-help organization in Switzerland based in Bern . The organization operates nationwide in Switzerland. 53 associations, 34 companies and over 2200 individual members are affiliated with Pink Cross. The organization was founded on June 5, 1993 and in March 1994 the office started operations. The organization's manager is Roman Heggli.
Content and projects
The organization is committed to anti-discrimination and recognition of homosexual couples in Switzerland. In recent years, together with LOS and FELS , it has supported the introduction of the Partnership Act and has actively provided information and persuasion in the referendum on the Partnership Act. In addition to his political work, Pink Cross has developed various social projects and advises homosexuals.
The association's archive is one of the most extensive documentaries on gay and, in some cases, lesbian politics in Switzerland. That is why there has been a collaboration with the Swiss Gay Archives since the beginning of 2005 and through this with the Swiss Social Archives .

Pink Cross is a member organization of the Swiss Aids Aid AHS and the International Lesbian and Gay Association (ILGA).
