Pioneer crew
The Pioneer Crew is a breakdance group from China .
history
In 2005 Danny and Erik from the Caster Dance Studio in Shanghai founded the Pioneer Crew. The aim was to unite the best b-boys in China and act as pioneers for the Chinese breakdance scene . The Pioneer Crew was joined by B-Boys from the Evolution Crew , Time and Space , DFC , Dragon and Energy Crew formations from various cities in Northwest, West and Southwest China.
In 2007 the Pioneers won the Battle of the Year China and qualified for the first Battle of the Year Asia as part of the World Carnival Festival in Busan . In Busan, however, they did not get beyond the showcase round and therefore could not qualify for the International Battle of the Year (BOTY for short) in Braunschweig .
In 2008 the Pioneer Crew went to Korea for the R16 Jam, u. a. supported by the Korea Tourism Organization and the Governor of Gyeonggi-do Province , invited to represent the Chinese scene. There the Pioneers put on a show alongside 15 other groups from all over the world and lost in the first round of the battles against the Russian crew Top 9 , which later reached second place, all broadcast live worldwide by KBS World and Europe-wide by Eurosport 2 .

Others
- Danny runs the Caster Dance Studio in Shanghai and organizes shows and battles for the Chinese breakdance scene. He is also the head of the Evolution Crew.
- The individual members can be found regularly in juries for battles all over China.
- Keven won the Chinese qualification for the 1on1 battle of the UK B-Boy Championships in 2007 and reached the quarter finals of the World Finals.
