The Pionierklippe is a rock formation in the Harz Mountains in Saxony-Anhalt .

The Harz cliff is on the right side high above the Selketal . The Pioniersteig runs through the cliff as part of the Selketalstieg from Alexisbad to Mägdesprung . Immediately south of the cliff is the pioneer tunnel , a little further north is the Devil's Cliff .

The pioneer cliff is set up as a viewing point with a bench and secured with railings. From here there is a view over the Selketal and the adjacent mountains. The name of the cliff goes back to the Magdeburg Pioneer Battalion No. 4 that built the neighboring pioneer tunnel in 1900.
