PISat ( P ESIT I maging satellite ) is an Indian earth observation and technology testing satellite from PES University in India .

Furnishing

PISat is a nanosatellite . It is equipped with a NanoCam. It is a CMOS color camera for Earth observation experiments built by GomSpace in Denmark. It serves as an imaging instrument to record the surface with a resolution of about 80 meters.

It is powered by solar cells and batteries.

Pisat was on 26 September 2016 a PSLV - launcher along with SCATSAT-1 , Alsat-1B and 2B , Alsat-1N , BlackSky Pathfinder 1 , Pratham and 7 CanX from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in a low earth orbit brought.
