The Piscis-Austrinids are a meteor shower that can be observed from Central Europe and was discovered by Alexander S. Herschel on July 28, 1865 .
The radiant of the Piscis-Austrinids lies in the constellation Southern Pisces , not far from the main star Fomalhaut . The meteor shower has a ZHR of 5 meteors per hour, but since the radian in the Central European latitudes is only just above the horizon, significantly fewer falling stars are visible.
