Pyaterik (also peterik ) was a measure of weight in Russia . The measure means five funta / pound. Similar measurements were Dwoinik for two, Troinik for three Funta and for 10 it was Desjaterik . A pud was 40 pounds

  • 1 pjaterik = 5 pounds (Russian) = 2.045 kilograms
  • 8 pjaterik = 1 pud = 16.36 kilograms
  • 13 1/3 troinik = 1 pud, this means 1 troinik = 1.227 kilograms
  • 20 dwoinik = 1 pud, this means 1 dwoinik = 8.18 kilograms
  • 4 desjaterik = 1 pud from this follows 1 desjaterik = 1.636 kilograms
