Place Duroc

The Place Duroc is a place in Pont-à-Mousson in France Meurthe-et-Moselle .

The square is named after Michel Duroc , a town-born student and former student of the Pont-à-Mousson Royal Military School. There are many architectural buildings from the 16th to 20th centuries. In the center there is a fountain commemorating the deployment of American volunteer ambulance drivers in eastern France from 1915 to 1917. The square has the shape of a triangle and is the largest group of Renaissance arcades in Lorraine . Several houses are listed and classified as such .
