Marco Fuchs

Marco Romed Fuchs (born June 29, 1962 in Bremen ) is CEO of the technology group OHB .

Life

His parents Christa and Manfred Fuchs founded the space company OHB System in Bremen.

Marco Fuchs studied law in Berlin and Hamburg. After his legal clerkship, he worked as a lawyer in Hamburg before completing his master's degree (LLM) at New York University .

He then worked as an attorney at law from 1992 to 1994 at the law firm Jones Day in New York and Frankfurt am Main.

In 1995 he joined his parents' company, OHB System AG, as an authorized signatory. He has been CEO of OHB SE since 2000 and of OHB System AG since 2011.

Other offices

At the Federal Association of the German Aviation and Space Industry , Marco Fuchs is Vice President Space and BDLI Treasurer.

In 2007 Marco Fuchs was one of three commercial workers at the Bremen Schaffermahlzeit .

Marco Fuchs has been Honorary Consul of the Republic of Italy for Bremen and Bremerhaven since May 12, 2008 .

Marco Fuchs has been a member of the Supervisory Board at Werder Bremen since 2015 as the successor to Hubertus Hess-Grunewald .

He is an ambassador for Bremen Children's Day.

Private

Marco Fuchs is married and has two children.
