The color platinum (adjective: platinum colored ) denotes a metallic shade of gray. Computer monitors cannot display platinum as a single color, as the color rendering depends on the light source and the surface material. The color platinum is therefore represented as a clearly defined, light gray, lighter than silver and with a very slight yellow tinge.
