The Playa Alcázar is a beach in the north of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In the north of Cape Shirreff , it is southeast of Playa Pinochet de la Barra .
Chilean scientists named him after the ship Capitán Luis Alcázar , who served the Chilean Antarctic expeditions from 1981 .
