Player (English for 'player') is an American pop rock band from Los Angeles.

history

Peter Beckett and John Crowley met at a party in New York and soon after formed the band with three other musicians. They had their biggest hit with their first single Baby Come Back in 1977, with which they had a million seller in the USA and landed at number 1 .
