Plica semilunaris coli
As Plicae semilunares coli (singular: semilunar fold coli ) is defined as crescent-shaped cross-folds of the colon wall , which in the lumen extend the colon. They form together with the taeniae the bulges (haustra) of the colon that give it a segmented appearance.
