The Pluta Attorney GmbH (also known as Pluta called) is an international rehabilitation and restructuring company with more than 40 subsidiaries in Germany, Italy, Spain and Poland. The company employs over 400 people. These include 90 professionals ( lawyers , tax consultants , auditors and sworn accountants ), 40 court-appointed insolvency administrators, 20 restructuring experts and 40 business people. Pluta offers services in the fields of legal advice, reorganization / restructuring and insolvency administration and is one of the three most popular insolvency firms in Germany.

history

Michael Pluta (* 1950) founded a law firm in Ulm in 1982, the predecessor of today's company, and specialized in insolvencies. In 2002 he founded Pluta Rechtsanwalts GmbH with his partners Martin Prager (Munich), Stephan Thiemann (Münster), Michael Schoor (Leipzig), Fritz Zanker (Stuttgart) and Joachim Geßler (Ulm). In 2008, Pluta achieved an annual turnover of over 20 million euros and employed more than 200 people. In 2017/2018 the turnover was 52 million euros. The company is currently run by 16 managing directors who are also shareholders.

Pluta attorneys oversaw attention-grabbing insolvency proceedings. So was Martin Prager a. a. Insolvency administrator of the mobile phone manufacturer BenQ with 3,100 employees. Michael Pluta redeveloped the model railway manufacturer Märklin and the river cruise operator nicko cruises. Stephan Thiemann handled the insolvency proceedings of the travel agent JT Touristik. In the insolvency proceedings of the Hock Group, an automotive supplier with more than 900 employees, several Pluta lawyers were appointed as insolvency administrators for the individual companies.

In the self-administration of the German fashion company Basler Fashion, Pluta supported the process in an advisory capacity.

International

Pluta also operates internationally, with its own branches in Italy, Spain and Poland. The company in Spain a. a. the sale of IMTECH with 900 employees and advises on the insolvency proceedings of AirBerlin in Spain.

Fields of activity

Under the umbrella of the Pluta brand, the services are bundled in three business areas: legal advice, reorganization / restructuring and insolvency administration.

In 2017, the consulting branch was further expanded, in the course of which a management company was founded in Germany, Pluta Management GmbH. Pluta Management Restructuring was founded in Spain in 2016.
