Poštová banka (Post Bank) is a universal commercial bank in Slovakia and was established on December 31, 1992. This bank is supported on the market by the cooperation with Slovenská pošta , as (Slovak Post) and is 90% owned by the J&T Finance Group . The financial group of Poštová banka includes Poisťovňa Poštovej banky (an insurance company) and Prvá penzijná správcovská spoločnos Aktien (a share management company). The profit in 2014 was 67.6 million euros.

Deposit insurance

As a member of the deposit insurance scheme , the Slovak credit institution is obliged to fully cover all deposits up to 100,000 euros in Slovakia under Directive 2009/14 / EC.
