Slovenská pošta, as (German: Slovak Post AG) is the state-owned postal company in Slovakia with its headquarters in Banská Bystrica . It operates 1,566 post offices across the country. It is the third largest employer in Slovakia.

The Slovak Post was established on January 1, 1993 when the state enterprise Správa pôšt a telekomunikácií (Post and Telecommunications Administration) was divided into the three state enterprises Slovenská pošta [Slovak Post], Slovenské telekomunikácie (now Slovak Telekom) and Poštová novinová sl.užba . [ Postal Newspaper Service ] (later Prvá novinová spoločnosť , as, now dissolved) was founded.
