Poedra is a German-speaking rapper formation from Duisburg . It consists of the Turkish-born Sezen and the Greek-born Stathi and Niko.

Her self-written and self-produced debut album Aktion Schwarzer Vogel (2004) was created in collaboration with the Greek independent label 8ctagon . Numerous other tracks by the musicians appeared on compilations, for example the WEA .

The musicians who offer "sharp-tongued lyrics (...) beyond gangsta rap" ( Cosmo-TV ) and who invent beats that are also used by other rappers are private friends. With Chilli Chilli Wa Productions, they run a record production studio in Duisburg, in which they produce themselves, solo projects and other young musicians from their environment.

The group also appeared on two evenings at the Ruhr Festival in 2006 .

In 2009 Poedra broke up after ten years of collaboration.
