The pohorka is a table apple.

The Pohorka variety originated in Slovenia from a cross between the Cox Orange Renette and the Ontario apple . The fruit is very easy to store. The flesh is juicy, sweet and sour with a good aroma. The fruits are ripe for picking in October and ripe for consumption from December to June.
