The Territorial Prelature Bocas del Toro ( Latin Praelatura Territorialis Buccae Taurinae , Spanish Prelatura de Bocas del Toro ) is a Roman Catholic territorial prelature based in Bocas del Toro in Panama .

Pope John XXIII founded with the Bull Novae Ecclesiae on October 17, 1962 the territorial prelature Bocas del Toro from territory ceded by the Diocese of David and subordinated it to the Archdiocese of Panama as a suffragan . It includes the Bocas del Toro Province and the Ngöbe-Buglé indigenous territory .
