The diocese of Santiago de Veraguas ( Latin Dioecesis Sancti Iacobi Veraguensis , Spanish Diócesis de Santiago de Veraguas ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Santiago de Veraguas in Panama .

Pope Paul VI founded the diocese on July 13, 1963 from cession of territory of the Archdiocese of Panama and subordinated it to this as a suffragan . It includes the province of Veraguas .
