José Agustín Ganuza García OAR (born August 28, 1931 in Artajona ) is emeritus prelate of Bocas del Toro .

Life

José Agustín Ganuza García joined the order of the Augustinian Recollects and was ordained a priest on June 27, 1954 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on March 12, 1970 prelate of Bocas del Toro and on February 4, 1972 titular bishop of Pauzera . The Apostolic Nuncio in Panama , Edoardo Rovida , donated him episcopal ordination on May 27 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Marcos Gregorio McGrath CSC , Archbishop of Panama , and Martin Legarra Tellechea OAR, Bishop of Santiago de Veraguas .

On November 18, 1977 he renounced his titular bishop's seat as part of the new allocation guidelines of the Roman Curia . On May 1, 2008, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
