Polina Malik (born November 18, 1998 in Ukraine ) is an Israeli volleyball player . The diagonal attacker came to Aachen from her home in 2019. In the 2020/21 season, the national player will play for Pölkky Kuusamo .

Career

Malik came to Israel a year after she was born. There she began her career at the junior academy at the age of 13. She played in the junior national team before she was later called up to the senior team. From 2016 to 2018 she played in the Israeli first division for Raʿanana VBC. The diagonal attacker then moved to league rivals Maccabi Haifa . In 2019 she was signed by the German Bundesliga club Ladies in Black Aachen . In the 2019/20 season she reached the quarter-finals of the DVV Cup and the European Challenge Cup with Aachen . When the Bundesliga season was canceled shortly before the playoffs, the Ladies in Black were in seventh place in the table. In the 2020/21 season she will play in Finland for Pölkky Kuusamo .
