Polish Open University

The Polish Open University ( POU , Polish Wyższa Szkoła Zarządzania - Polish Open University , German  College of Management - Polish Open University ) is a private university in Poland and was founded in 1991 as one of the first private universities in Poland. The Polish Open University, based in Warsaw , also has branches in Wroclaw and Krakow and by 2006 had a total of over 7,000 graduates.

Awards

According to the university ranking of the Polish political and economic magazine "Wprost" for 2007, the university was the best private university in Poland in the category of economics and management.

The university's e-learning system was awarded the “Teraz Polska” quality award (as the only university in Poland).

International cooperation

Through cooperation with foreign universities, it is possible to obtain a double degree ( Oxford Brookes University).

The Polish Open University is the only Polish university to be a member of the Association of MBAs (AMBA), a British accreditation body for business schools.

The POU cooperates in Germany with the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Lörrach .
